PRIMAL HEALTH

I am a Primal Health Coach, a wellness expert who educates, motivates and guides clients toward lifestyle and behavior choices that support optimal well-being. I collaborate with clients to create lives of maximum vitality using nutrition and fitness strategies based on scientifically validated ancestral health principles. The Primal approach brings wellness back to the basics—eating, moving, living, and thriving as our bodies were designed to.


I love to work with women who are committed to making the changes necessary to look and feel their best…from the inside out!


Primal health aligns with the lifestyle and diet of our hunter-gatherer ancestors, who were naturally slim and fit, and weren’t beset with the modern health conditions that plague us today. It guides us back to eating real, whole foods, and moving as humans have evolved to move, and sleeping and living according to our natural rhythms, all of which foster maximal health.


Humans are designed to survive, thrive, evolve, and adapt. They’re designed to be nimble, agile, strong, and to endure. But the human animal increasingly isn’t doing any of these things. So what in the world has happened? To understand that, we have to take a step (way) back—before the modern day health industry stepped in to try to make us better (but failed miserably). Back to who we were before we became the fat, sick, and bewildered species of today.


There is so much to share and learn, so get excited because you are about to start returning to your genetic destiny as perfect, optimal humans.

SIMPLE TIP:

Take a couple of minutes to look at the food in your fridge and pantry. Really think about what they are. How many ingredients are listed? How many of those ingredients can you actually identify as food? How many degrees of processing did each ingredient go through before being prettily packaged for you to buy? Which are the least nutritious and the most “fortified” or “enriched” with added vitamins? Which have thickeners, emulsifiers, flavourings, preservatives, etc?


These foods tend to be empty of real nutrients and full of elements that inflame your body and shut down your natural ability to regulate your appetite. Breads, cereals, baked goods, and anything made from grains, whole or otherwise; packaged foods and processed/fast foods; heavily processed industrial seed, grain, and vegetable oils, as well as dressings and sauces made from them (mayonnaise, salad dressings); the "mindless crunchy snacks" that derail you in front of the TV at night; sweets, sugary drinks and sodas; frozen convenience meals, canned convenience foods; and just about anything that was made by man or produced in a factory. Eliminating or greatly reducing these food items can dramatically improve your health!
